What to Do in Malinska When It Rains

Malinska's list leans toward the table, but not entirely.

The wellness spa day and the olive-oil massage are the indoor answers that have nothing to do with eating, and the artisan gelato tasting sits somewhere between the two.

For something to make rather than consume, the Presnac heritage demo covers the island's cheese-and-egg cake and lets you taste the result, and the ceramic fig-tree workshop is a proper sit-down afternoon.

The food is the bulk of it: Noštromo's terrace dinner, Primorska Koliba's seafood lunch, The Bridge's tasting menu, and Mulino's squid stew, which is the one to order if you only eat once. Frajona's cellar tasting runs four wines, with a pairing add-on at Vila Rova.
