## Geschichte

Šilo is one of Krk's two historic fishing villages on the northeast coast, where ribarstvo and pomorstvo are core heritage trades. Mirko Car runs a small commercial fishing operation, selling daily catch from the quayside to locals and Šilo restaurants. A direct, no-frills source for the freshest Adriatic white fish, blue fish and seasonal cephalopods.
