# Traveling Traders and Itinerant Craftspeople

> Traditional Krk economy included not only resident producers and traders but also traveling figures — itinerant craftspeople who moved between villages providing specialized services (knife-grinding, kettle repair, occasional shoemaking and clothing repair), and traveling traders who circulated produce, manufactured goods, and information across the island and between Krk and mainland markets.
