## Story

Galerija Stanić sits on Vela Placa, the main square of Krk old town, run by Helena Stanić as a registered d.o.o. The gallery's signature work is a series of hand-carved olive-wood sculptures incorporating Glagolitic-letter motifs from the Bašćanska ploča, plus a popular line of olive-wood bookmarks. Both lines carry the Dar iz Krka authenticated-souvenir mark, and the gallery is one of the most-visited artisan stops on the old-town walking circuit.
