Krk in November
The quiet month, with two dates worth planning around: Malinska's outdoor weekend and Punat's feast of St Andrew.
November is the island at its quietest. The olive harvest runs through the month and the presses are working -- worth seeing if you are here, though it is a season rather than an occasion.
Two dates do recur. In the first half of the month Malinska holds its Outdoor Weekend: the Malinska Trail race and the Malinska Hike on the Saturday, a recreational bike ride and a kids' bike park on the Sunday, with a stand-up evening, a concert and shared lunches around them. And on 30 November Punat keeps Andrinja, the feast of St Andrew and the day of both the municipality and the parish: a solemn mass and the traditional rite for the dead at the old cemetery, with a programme over the days around it.
For a busier island, look at October and December on either side.
