Butchers on Krk

Four butchers, one of them the retail outlet of a Krčki pršut producer.

Four butchers in the town area. One is the shop front of a producer of Krčki pršut — the island's dry-cured ham, which holds EU Protected Geographical Indication status and was the first Croatian product protected at EU level. Buying it at the counter rather than pre-packed is the difference worth making.

Town of Krk administrative area only — Krk town, Kornić, Muraj and the Šotovento villages. The island's other six municipalities are not covered yet, so an absent business is one we have not reached rather than one that does not exist.
