What to Do in Malinska in Winter

The promenade, the pine woods and a spa day — Malinska in winter is a walking-and-warming town.

Malinska in winter is quiet in a way that suits it. The promenade and the pine forest walk are the reasons to be here, and neither needs the season's cooperation — the woods behind the town are sheltered and the coastal path is flat enough to walk in poor weather.

When it turns, the wellness spa day and the olive-oil massage are the answer, and only Šilo, on the east coast, has anything similar.

The food carries the rest. The Bridge's tasting menu, Mulino's squid stew, the Vila Rova wine pairing, and the Presnac heritage demo — the island's cheese-and-egg cake, made and then eaten.

Note that the municipality reaches inland: some of what is listed is in Porat, Sveti Vid-Miholjice or Bogovići rather than on the seafront.
