Malin Draga
Malin Draga is a small pebble beach in Malinska town with a permanent wheelchair-access ramp into the water — one of very few formally accessible beaches on Krk. Combined with free nearby parking, basic facilities, and central Malinska restaurants 5 minutes away, it's the most practical choice for visitors with reduced mobility.

About
Malin Draga is a 120-metre pebble cove at the eastern edge of Malinska town, set in a small bay sheltered from the dominant winds. The beach is fine pebble shoreline with a uniform pebble seabed and very gradual entry, comfortable for non-swimmers and weak swimmers.
What sets Malin Draga apart from most Krk beaches is the wheelchair-access ramp installed at the central section. The ramp leads from the paved promenade behind the beach down to the water's edge, allowing wheelchair users to reach swimming depth with assistance. There's a dedicated transfer station and a beach wheelchair available on request from the kiosk in summer. Croatia's coast is generally not well set up for accessibility; this beach is a notable exception, and the small accessibility infrastructure was put in place by the Malinska tourist board in collaboration with a Croatian disability advocacy group around 2018.
The rest of the facilities are basic but functional: showers, toilets, changing rooms, a small kiosk for water and snacks, and a few rows of rental sun loungers. Lifeguards are on duty mid-June through mid-September. The lounger rental is €8–12 per day, modest by Malinska standards. Free parking is in the lots about 100 metres back from the beach; a smaller designated accessible parking spot is right at the promenade entrance.
The shape of the bay means it's protected from both the bura (north-east wind) and the jugo (south-east wind), so the water stays calm even when neighbouring beaches are choppy. This is partly why the beach was selected for the accessibility infrastructure: a calm bay is essential when assisting wheelchair users into the water. The protected geometry also means water temperature in the bay can be 1–2°C warmer than open beaches in early and late season.
Malinska town centre is 5 minutes' walk away along the seafront promenade. Multiple restaurants on the seafront offer accessible seating with sea views. The harbour is the local hub for short boat excursions to nearby Cres island and to the smaller offshore islets — many of these excursions can accommodate wheelchair users with advance notice. The town's pharmacy and general medical office are within 10 minutes' walk for any issues that arise mid-stay.
Malin Draga is the right beach for visitors with reduced mobility, families with very young children (gradual entry + calm bay), or anyone wanting a quieter swim than Haludovo or Rova on the other side of Malinska. It's not the right beach for water sports or for travellers seeking a 'resort' atmosphere.
