About

A family winery reviving autochthonous Krk and Kvarner varieties - Sansigot, Trojišćina, Kamenina, Debejan, Belina and Jarbola - alongside flagship Žlahtina from iron-red soils and rocky bura-exposed hillsides.

Story

Founded in 1999 by agronomist Ivica Dobrinčić, who currently chairs the Udruženje Vina Kvarnera. The vineyards are split between the iron-red soils of the Vrbnik valley and rocky bura-exposed hillsides; production runs 50,000–70,000 L per year, with around 40% Žlahtina and the remainder devoted to almost-lost autochthonous varieties. The Hlam 9 Žlahtina has scored 92 points at Falstaff and the Sansigot dry red 90 points.
